Welcome to another edition of Tech Talk Thursday. This week we are going to take a break from looking at iPhone/iPod Touch apps and focus on some of the technology podcast that I either listen to now or have in the past. The ones in the past are within the last few weeks, so it’s not like I listened to them two years ago and want to write about them now.
You should have known that I would start off with an Apple podcast. This podcast is generally a run down of all the Mac news from the past 24 hours or so. Ken talks about Apple stock, Steve Jobs, the iPhone, the Mac computer, and the mactabletnetbook thingy that has yet to be announced. If you just want a quick listen to what is going on in the world of Mac then this is the podcast for you. You can also find this on the Stitcher Radio app (Free). Ken also has his own iPhone app available here for “two dollars and ninety-nine cents.”
Technically speaking, TWIT is a network of podcast brought to you by Leo Laporte. Now if you haven’t heard of Leo then I’m sure you’ve been hiding under a rock somewhere. I used to like TWIT but have gotten bored listening to it lately because it just seems like a long advertisement for for Ford sync and audible.com. (I didn’t include links on purpose). The same pretty much goes for This Week in Mac podcast too. I just stopped listening to them because I’m looking for content.
This is by far my favorite video podcast. Cali and Neal really know what they’re doing when it comes to producing a quality video podcast. In this podcast you never know what you are going to get but it will be good. It might be some news or it will be a product review for some new gadget. You can’t go wrong choosing this one.
Thanks for dropping by and hope to see you again soon.
